Comparison of roof consolidation design schemes of light steel structure workshop

In the process of inspection, we found that there are some light steel structure workshops which do not conform to the specification, such as the unreasonable steel beam bearing capacity is insufficient and the joint practice is wrong. After the inspection of a single-layer light steel structure workshop in a production workshop, it is found that there are many irregularities, which are shown in the following four aspects: (1) there is no brace and brace between sandalwood bars; (2) there is no brace and tie bar between roof truss; (3) there is no brace between columns; (4) the bent columns at virtual and real shafts are partially twisted due to collision. Next, we compare the schemes of roof consolidation design:






Scheme 1: dismantle the original color steel plate of the plant and replace it with a large-scale concrete roof panel, which is welded with the roof truss, and the gap between the panels is treated with concrete. The size of large-scale concrete panel is 1.5m6m. In addition, waterproof and heat insulation layer of concrete panel is required. The load of roof is about 2.8kn/m, and the section size of bearing structure of roof is too large






Scheme II: the roof facilities of the original light steel structure workshop will not be removed, and the supporting structure system will be added. As a whole, scheme 2 has more advantages than scheme 1. The reason is that the large roof slab can play a good role in the transmission of horizontal load, and when the load change of the roof is obvious (increase), the stressed bodies such as bent columns and roof trusses are faced with load pressure. At this time, it is necessary to consolidate the stressed bodies to meet the pressure requirements of the stressed bodies due to the increase of load, which will lead to the increase of cost and consolidation time Plus.






If scheme II is adopted, i.e. the original roof facilities are not removed, increasing the support structure system can not only shorten the consolidation time, but also gain beneficial cost control. At the same time, the stability of the whole light steel structure workshop structure can be raised synchronously, and the spatial stiffness can also be raised correspondingly. This consolidation method can reduce the roof load and the pressure of the stressed body, and the consolidation procedure is simple. Therefore, it is decided to adopt scheme II to consolidate the roof based on all factors.
